Zakynthos

The most famous beach on the island is the wonderful Navagio Beach (Shipwreck), which has soft white sand, turquoise waters, and impressive cliffs around it and can be visited only by boat.
Beaches on the eastern side of the island are mostly organized, while bays on the western side are more secluded.

The top sights in Zakynthos are the impressive Blue Caves on the southwestern part of the island. The island is also home to many religious buildings, with the most imposing being the church of Agios Dionysios in Zakynthos Town.
